Muriel Wines obtains the Wineries for Climate Protection Certification: A step further in our commitment to sustainability
At Muriel Wines, we continue to take concrete steps to reinforce our commitment to sustainability. Staying true to this dedication, we have obtained the Wineries for Climate Protection (WfCP) certification, a recognition based on four fundamental pillars: reducing our carbon footprint, renewable energy and energy efficiency, water management, and waste reduction. This certification validates our best practices in accordance with the rigorous criteria of the Spanish Wine Federation (FEV).
This achievement is the result of years of effort, investment, team commitment, and dedication to implementing environmental best practices to reduce our carbon footprint and promote a culture of respect for the environment in all our operations. The certification not only acknowledges the work we have done so far but also strengthens our responsibility to keep moving forward in this direction.
At Muriel Wines, we understand that caring for the land is essential to ensure a lasting legacy in producing exceptional Rioja wines and preserving the environment in which we work. However, this achievement is not an endpoint but a beginning: our goal is to obtain certification for all our wineries.
We will continue working with the same dedication to ensure that every bottle of wine we produce not only reflects quality and tradition but also a steadfast commitment to sustainability.
