With a small book-cum-magazine format, Grape Stories is visually attractive and pleasant to look at and read. It is organised in five large blocks symbolising the successive stages ?some are very evident, others are more conceptual? in the life of a wine: Vineyard, Winery, Wine, Pleasures, World and Ideas. It also features a special section dedicated to Fundación Maga, the non-profit organisation supported by Muriel Wines which promotes educational projects and the improvement of living conditions for children in Cambodia and Sierra Leone.
Two renowned illustrators have contributed to the publication: Jorge Martín and Andreu Gallart. Their very personal interpretation, full of emotion and singularity, is reflected in the book.
Grape Stories is aimed at customers and importers around the world, media, journalists and bloggers, opinion makers and industry influencers worldwide. For the time being, Grape Stories has only been published in English, but we plan to publish a Spanish version soon to reach the world of Spanish wine, a goal that reflects our increasingly strong position in the domestic market, especially with the brands Muriel and Conde de los Andes .
Particularly relevant sections
Among the highlights of Grape Stories are a photographic account of the harvest at Conde de los Andes with a superb selection of pictures taken by Fernando Caballero and Félix Herce, photographers at Reproimagen; and several pieces about different ways of enjoying our diverse portfolio of wines, ranging from traditional cuisine to modern mixology.
There are also interesting interviews with Javier Murúa, CEO of Muriel Wines, who explains his ideas and opinions about the new territorial classification for Rioja wines, and Natalia Murúa, who, together with Javier, describes the trajectory and current state of Fundación Maga, which is approaching its first 10 years of activity.
