What will 2020 bring?

What will 2020 bring?

Challenges and opportunities of the new year.

We leave 2019 behind and start a new year. We wish all our Spanish and international customers, all the vinegrowers we work with and all the friends of our wine brands, the best possible 2020.

In Muriel Wines we face it with a desire to work. There is no denying that it brings new complexities, especially in international markets as powerful and important as the United Kingdom and the United States. The well-known Brexit, on the one hand, and the new US taxes, on the other, are factors that bring uncertainty.

Faced with these challenges, we are going to redouble our efforts in what we have always been able to do: knowing the markets, both of origin and destination, as much as possible; flexibly and consistently extending our product proposal; reaching all demands and meet them effectively and quickly; consolidating our experience and responsiveness, which is well recognized in the aging wine segment. And, above all, continuing to provide value, quality and service.

In Spain we have the challenge of growing in recognition, something that we are gradually getting from the hand of our two brands with greater identity: Muriel and Conde de los Andes. Muriel is our founding winery and represents the character of Rioja Alavesa, while Conde de los Andes, based in Ollauri, stands for the history and for its present-day successful renovation. The sum of both is the best example of our own unique contribution to the diversity that Rioja is defining as never before.

This is the way, which we hope to continue successfully in this new year.

Many thanks to you all!
