Conde de los Andes: new vintages and large formats
What novelties are we showing in Prowein this year?
Conde de los Andes Blanco 2015
Grape bunches are selected both in the vineyard during the harvest and later when the berries arrive at the winery. This painstaking selection brings out Viura?s main typicity features in our Conde de los Andes Blanco: a balanced and energetic palate with good acidity that turn this grape variety into one of the most suitable to pair with food.
The mineral character that was present in the 2013, the previous vintage on the market, is more marked in this 2015 vintage.
The wine fermented with its fine lees for three months in French oak barrels. After this time, it spent an additional six months in the same barrels.
The ageing and the well integrated oak add a pleasant feeling of volume in a palate layered with fine, fruity notes.
Magnum and double magnum bottles of Conde de los Andes Tinto 2013
Consumers demand large format wines so we have decided to meet demand with the release of Conde de los Andes 2013 magnum (1.5 litres) and double magnum (3 litres) bottles.
The content is delicious. The unquestionable freshness and depth of the 2013 red gains even more complexity in these large volume bottles compared to the standard 75cl container. The outside is equally appealing: neat and attractive, powerful, a contemporary classic image and an element of quality in bars and restaurants."
