Pazo Cilleiro 2018 has just been launched

Rías Baixas: grapes of exceptional health

Ordered and calmly run, the past harvest in Rías Baixas lasted for more than a month, from September 8 to October 14. According to the technical staff of the DO, the harvest took place on the usual dates and was defined by a fantastic grape health. The weather stability of August and September, with a dry and sunny weather, allowed the veraison phase to develop properly. The grapes finally arrived in a a very good condition for harvesting.

Our area, Valle del Salnés, in the province of Pontevedra, collected more than 60% of the total grape production of the denomination.

Pazo Cilleiro Albariño 2018

Made with albariño grapes from different plots around the Pazo Cilleiro winery, in Valle del Salnés, it stands out for its typicity and its overwhelming freshness. Now in its initial stages, it is already striking because of its full personality. The ageing in the bottle during the next months will achieve an even more rounded and satisfactory profile. The next summer it will be for sure one of our favourites to pair with appetizers and fresh dishes ?fish, seafood, salads.
